STAGE LEGS & BRACING

Raising the level.
  • All of our stage legs are manufactured from BS 1138 aluminium scaffold grade tube which is readily available nationwide.

  • All stage legs are fitted with non-marking plastic end caps to protect venue floors.

  • Height increments of 150mm form the ideal step heights leading up to stages and are also compliant with exhibition hall regulations.

STAGE CLIPS

Aluminium stage clips are used to fix stage modules together. Two clips per joint are required and an 8mm allen key is required.

LEG CLAMP

Used to easily and quickly lock different height stages together.

We have two types of leg clamp – ‘valance’ and ‘fascia’.

The ‘valance’ leg clamp ensures that there is sufficient gap between the different stage heights so that the valance drops vertically.

The ‘fascia’ leg clamp pulls the lower deck back underneath the  upper deck so that the fascia sits on the lower level.

LEG BRACING

Stage leg bracing is achieved using aluminium scaffold grade tube [BS1139] and scaffold couplers. Generally, legs will be both horizontally and diagonally braced creating triangular braces to create inherent stage stability.

Examples of stages that will require leg bracing;

  • Stage heights over 1200mm.

  • Stages which will be subjected to large dynamic loads – for example: dance groups performing choreographed dance routines or vehicles moving on stage.

  • Stages constructed on outdoor sloping sites.

  • Stages supporting a stage roof.

  • To comply with exhibition hall regulations.
